Summer 2026 is a “transition” season at Greater Barton Arts. The Arts Center at 396 Main Street in Barton will host a Music Series and continue to provide community meeting spaces, facilities for celebrations, as well as for classes and use of its art reference library.

Greater Barton Arts is the Northeast Kingdom’s Affiliate for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program (for all towns and villages with the exception of Glover and Barton Villages). Currently Greater Barton Arts is providing free books to 1240+ children aged 0 to 5 years old each month (age -appropriate titles sent to them in their name). The Arts Center is a place of music, lectures, art exhibits both student and professional, and a gift shop representing area artists and artisans and art related items.
